When we heard about the new Forza Horizon 5 game, we were excited.

If you want to see what mods do to cars in a "game environment," you could even look at what mods do in the real world and see if the same things work.

Fortunately, most of the settings and options are the same as they were in Horizon 5. New: The main thing is that there is now an off road rating, which takes into account how well the car does on rougher ground.

In Horizon 5, drifting is much easier and more intuitive. It used to be hard to get the handling settings just right and then make sure your steering inputs were just right.

When you drive, you can now hear different sounds depending on what kind of engine and how many modifications have been made to it. This adds a whole new level of fun to the experience. It's even possible to hear how the engine sounds change as you apply different parts to it. You can use the rev engine feature to hear what the car will sound like.

We'd like you to play around with the settings. Ideally, you should have the best settings for each track you race on.

If there are many straights on the track, higher gearing will help the driver go faster. On a twisty track, you should be more concerned with how quickly you can go.

I've made S1 cars that outperform cars in the X class in every situation, so don't think bigger cars are always faster.

According to the track and where the power is, it might be better or worse.

Choosing already-made tunes

When you load a tune, be aware of high top speeds, brilliant cornering G's, and quick 0-60 times. A long final gear will do this, and a short low gear ratio will do this. These extremes usually mean that compromises have been made on the way to where they are now, too.

Download a tune, try it out on a set of corners, then switch to a different tune, press the rewind button, and see if the car behaves better with the new tune on the car. There is a great way to compare your tunes and figure out the best way to play them. You can change the tune and rewind to do this.

The gears and gear ratios in Horizon 5

There are some weird things that happen when you move the slider all the way to the top speed. This will give you more acceleration at the bottom, so keep an eye out for this.

There is a slider that lets you set the final ratio, but we always recommend manually setting the ratios of each gear.

I think you should get the gearing about where you need it to be in order to get the most out of your car's power band. Then, you can use the final drive ratio to make it even better.

If you want to get faster acceleration, keep an eye on the sprint times and change the low-end gear ratios to match. You can usually cut a whole second off the time it takes to go from 0 to 60 if you do this right. This gives you an advantage on short, twisty tracks where the time is short.

Every time you change gear, you lose both time and power. Putting the gears in line with your power band will make the car more stable.

It will spin if the low gear ratios are set too close together. There is a point where this happens, and it changes depending on the tyres you choose and the terrain you are riding on.

Switching between the Forza tuning presets is what you should do for every type of race or challenge.

Different settings will be needed to get the best times in Horizon 5. The game has a lot of different types of terrain. When it rains or snows, the cars have less grip than in previous games. This doesn't seem to have much to do with how the cars handle, but it does.

We also recommend that you use the save tune option to keep both your off-road and on-road tuning setups. This way, you can be sure that the best setting is chosen.

Usually, drivers choose a good all-around setting and stick with it. You can easily save your tunes and switch between them, so we recommend that you do this.

You should add the option for Nitrous, which is a single tank that doesn't refill itself and gives a big boost for short bursts of the race. It will add a new dimension to drag and track racing as well as make the game more fun. This is what I would like to see added:

Changing the suspension in Horizon 5 can make the car more stable.

Once again, we have a lot of settings to play with, so let's look at the main ones first.

Camber: changing your camber will help you corner better. An extreme front camber will corner better, but it will also make your car more likely to spin out in a straight line.

Putting the toe in will help keep the car on the road straight.
Most of the time, if you have a front wheel or four wheel drive, you should toe out a little. If you have rear wheel drive, a little toe in works best.

To get good speed and cornering, I like to set the front caster angle near the top. It's important to set it for the track and car you're using, so there is no one-size-fits-all rule for how it should be set.

It is a quick way to change how your car behaves on different tracks and surfaces, even if you already have the spring settings you like best.

It will be easier to corner if you set the front toe out, which will make the car turn better. Also, the front suspension should be a little softer to make the car easier to turn. This will make the car easier to drive around turns. Most of the time, you only need to make a small change to the toe to make a big difference.

Getting ready for off-road driving in Forza Horizon 5. (Baja etc…)

Suspension travel should be more when the car is in off-road mode and the springs are soft. Otherwise, the car will bounce and flip a lot.

The height of the suspension also makes a difference. You need height to improve off-road performance, and that extra suspension travel will help keep the car on the ground. It also helps to have a softer suspension set-up to avoid the bouncing that happens if you don't.

Off-road cars need a lot of clearance and a soft suspension, or they will just bounce around and roll around. Some cars will bounce too much and be unstable after they land, so if this is the case, soften the suspension and make the springs stronger. This will raise the suspension height a little.

Use the rear and front anti roll bars to keep the wheel from lifting off when you corner. You'll see that with high and soft suspension, the wheel can lift off when you corner.

To get the best grip and handling on a tarmac road, you should lower your car and make it harder. You'll have to play around with each car to figure out what works best for you. The roll bars on the front and back of your car can also help you corner more stable and keep your speed up.

To get the most out of my performance, I like to use about 20% of my time on the tarmac, and this goes up to about 85% or more for off-road setups.

Differentials in Forza Horizon 5.

The diff or differential affects how stable a car is, and how well it can corner. For example, on a drift car, you need the rear at the max so the rear breaks away (you also need a manual gearbox for drifting in Horizon 5 or it'll be hard to close those triple stars).

As a start, set the rear diffs to 80, and front to 20. Then, tweak it from there, until you get the right amount of torque steer, oversteer, and understeer.

From what I've done, the differentials are all the same, but they come with a different setup for the different types of cars. All of the diffs can be changed to make a circuit, or drift, differential by moving the sliders on the side of them. There is no need to buy a new differential when you can change the settings on the one you already have and make it work better.

For most cars, a front diff setting of about 20% and about 80% works best for circuits and track work. I also like to send about 70% of the power to the rear wheels, which gives the car a good amount of oversteer.

When this is done on some muscle cars, this works best when it's set to 80% to the rear, which improves cornering a lot. On other cars, a 50/50 setting lets the car pull well in the corners.

Play around with the acceleration and deceleration settings to see how this affects the car's cornering. In most cases, a little oversteer is better because it allows the car to turn more quickly, but that might not be what you want to do.

There are a lot of tyre settings and options in Forza 5.

Tire pressures have an effect on how well the car grips the road and how well it handles. This is different from the previous games, so play around with the settings and see what works best for you.

Add more of these things to get more power down, but you'll lose a little stability and cornering. Drop them for off-road vehicles if they bounce around too much and the handling mods aren't enough.

In Horizon 5, the tyre compound and type have a big effect on how the car handles and how well it performs. It's not that easy to figure out, so you have to play around and try out different settings.

Different: Tires also look different from Horizon 4, with drift tyres, semi-slick race tyres, and slick race tyres. The semi-slicks seem to be the best choice, especially if you're trying to fit in a performance level. They're also better off-road than the slicks, which is important to me because I spend most of my time off-road in Mexico.

In order to get the best drag times, you need drag tyres. These tyres are great for gripping the road in the same place over and over again. Jumps, where you can run up on tarmac, are also good places to use this rubber. Because you'll be going faster into the jump, you'll get a few extra metres of distance because your speed will be so high.

Give the driver a lot of control when the car is going sideways. Drift tyres are not very good for racing on a track, though.

Tips for tuning the engine in Forza Horizon 5.

When looking at a car's power band, make sure that the peak power band is where you usually sit during a race. The most power doesn't always come from the biggest engine.

In general, turbos have a lot of power in the middle and the top of the rev range. This is usually best because you won't spend much time in the low rpms when the car is moving.

It turns out that small, lightweight, high-revving turbos work well on most cars. The rally option works well, and if you have a class limit, it can put you in the lower class and give you better acceleration.

A rally engine option is good if you can add a bigger turbo and a camshaft to make your car go faster (quick on circuits, not necessarily for straight-line speed).

If you want to make the most power, you should add as many things as you can. If you want to make the most power, you should add as many things as you can. There are times when brakes can help you turn on tight tracks, but it's usually better to put your energy into other things that will help you speed up.

Despite the fact that the top speed isn't very accurate, it's still a good way to figure out how your mods will change the car. Some small changes can add a few extra MPH here and there. Most of the time, you need a long road to reach the top speed for each tune.

Some cars go much faster than the speed they say they can go, and some tune as FAILED even though they work very well. A FAILED would show that you could make some small adjustments to the toe and camber settings.

Horizon 5's handling has been improved.

Weight loss is one of the best mods because it improves handling, acceleration, and braking and can help you save a lot of time by cutting down on the weight.

Don't forget about the brakes, though. As soon as you turn, you can slam the anchors to slow down your car. This means that you can keep going faster through the corner than if you just scrape the barrier.

Change the height of both front and back wheels to get better acceleration and speed. In most cases, set the front higher than the back to get the best acceleration, but this isn't always the best thing to do. People who drive FWD cars need the front setting to be lower than the rear, but I'm still playing with this option and I'll let you know when I've figured it out for sure.

Most of the time, I think it's better to invest in a four-wheel drive setup than to add a lot of power to your car. The fastest car on the track is usually the one that can turn and accelerate the fastest.

You can often get a little more speed by lowering the rear suspension and raising the front (Not like in the real world at all). Gearing Having a high top speed isn't great if there isn't enough road to get there, so acceleration is important.

Bound and rebound settings make a big difference in how the car handles. The rebound should always be between 50 and 80 percent of the bound settings, and this will help the car corner better and give it a better feel for the wheel. Usually, I start with the bound set at 80% and the rebound set at 50%. Then, I make changes as I go along from there.

Tuning and setting up gearboxes in Forza Horizon 5

Get your gear change points right. You don't want to change gear all the time because it will take you a lot of time, and you don't want to have a long gear that takes a long time to get going.

Using the acceleration/speed slider, get a sense of how wide the range is. Then, change the ratios to get the power where you need it. This is how it works: This isn't always the case, so it's not always clear how to move the slider to get faster.

Make sure you know that 10-speed boxes add weight to the car. If a car has a wide powerband and big top end, the extra gears can help it go faster at the top speed. They won't help much with acceleration, though,

5 speed boxes can work well on some cars on some short, twisty tracks because the longer ratios mean less gear changes. Keep an eye on the gears in each race. If you don't use the top end of the gears, you might want to think about cutting back on the number of gears.

People don't use low gears very often and want to get going quickly.

In Horizon 4, you could win most of the races that were held at the same time each year. If you added four-wheel drive, it was a big help.

There are a lot of dirt tracks in Horizon 5, and this is still true. The competitor's cars, on the other hand, have a more difficult setup that makes it harder for you to win.

Heavy wheels or other parts can help you move down a power class, so if acceleration and top speed are important, you can change your options to get the most out of each class.

This will help you get back into your power class for the race. In each race, write down your top speed. Then, set the gearing to around this level. You won't gain anything by pushing it up, but you might improve acceleration by dialling it back.

There are people who need cars that can turn quickly, and there are people who need cars that can go fast and have good brakes. Don't be afraid to switch cars. You can use the "Quit" event to change cars, tune, and try again.

The fastest car in Forza Horizon 5 is ....

A lot has changed between Horizon 4 and Horizon 5. The old Ferrari FXX Evo has a top speed of around 175mph and very bad handling, even with tweaks we couldn't get it to do as well as it did in Horizon 4.

Horizon 5 has a lot of different cars. Which ones are the fastest? There are bound to be some interesting new cars added over the next few weeks and months. If I were in charge, I would gradually add faster and faster cars to the game to keep people interested.

Our favourite supercar to drive right now is the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, which we found to be the best-handling one.

There's a car called the Koenigsegg Jesko that has a top speed of 303mph or more with the right set up. This is a bad thing because the car doesn't handle very well, but with a few tweaks, it can be a good track weapon. It seems to be the best car for big jumps with a long run up.

The Mercedes AMG SLK Forza Edition is a great car for cornering, and it stays on the road very well. It is also very fast.

If you want the best race car, then choose the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (Forza Edition)

The Hoonigan RS200 is still a great car and a great all-arounder, and it doesn't depend on how it's tuned. It's also a great car for racking up XP and Forzathon points, and it has gotten some impressive drift scores for me.

If you buy a Forza Edition model, you'll be able to get more parts and upgrade options than non-Forza Edition models, so keep an eye out for these models.

Choose a V12 engine for racing. Then, choose the "valve part" option in the Tuning menu to buy the racing pack. This will give the car a speed rating of 9.

It can be even better if you switch to a racing engine block, which will make the car go faster.

Gearing ratios can be changed to make the car go faster, but it should still be able to handle very well.
